Director
Jeremy is a Director at Davenports Law, leading the firm’s Commercial Team. He has a broad range of experience working in legal roles both in New Zealand and in the United Kingdom.
Jeremy takes the time to learn about his clients’ businesses which enables him to provide succinct and practical advice that is tailored to their needs.
Jeremy specialises in commercial and business law, covering: negotiation and drafting of all types of commercial contracts; sales and purchases of businesses and shares; financing; franchising and licencing; and company law including constitutions and shareholder agreements.
Jeremy has provided legal advice to a wide range of companies including those involved in insurance, construction, manufacturing, medical, consultancy, early childhood education and primary industries.
In addition to his legal experience Jeremy also spent three years working as a Relationship Manager in the Commercial and Agri team of a major NZ bank. Jeremy’s understanding of bank lending and credit policies provides him with a unique skill set when it comes to advising customers in relation to their financing requirements.
